ACRYL-PUTZ® FX23 FLEX - Flexible finish putty with glass fibre additives
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Ready-to-use flexible finish putty with glass fibre additives. After drying, leaves a transparent layer with visible fibres, which can be covered by the following putties ACRYL-PUTZ® ST10 START, FS20 FINISZ or FD12 FASADA.
APPLICATION:
ACRYL-PUTZ® FX23 FLEX can be used when performing all-kind renovation works either inside or outside of premises, on concrete, gypsum, cement and lime, wooden and plaster cardboard panel surfaces. Due to high and stable flexible properties it can be used upon cracks not exceeding 5 mm without necessity of the reinforced tape.
Glass fibre
The content of glass fibre within ACRYL-PUTZ® FX23 FLEX is responsible for effective repair of surface cracks. The joints are uniquely durable and solid. The putty can be applied upon cracks not exceeding 5 mm without necessity of the reinforced tape.
Polymer formula
ACRYL-PUTZ® FX23 FLEX contains special polymer resin which enhances significantly its durable parameters and determines excellent adhesive properties of the putty to the surface.
Surface preparation
- surface must be solid, dry and free of dust, grease, loose plaster grains and any contamination
- in order to reinforce the surface it’s recommended to use primer ACRYL-PUTZ® before performing smoothening-down
- plaster cardboard panels are to be assembled in accordance with existing assembly principles

Smoothening-down
- the putty is to be applied by putty knife, stainless steel or plastic float (one layer of 3mm thickness),by pressing the putty so that it fills in cracks carefully and adheres to its sides
- in order to obtain smoother layer it’s recommended to smooth the surface by wet putty knife
- after drying it’s recommended to cover the layer by suitable ACRYL-PUTZ® putty in order to obtain ideally smooth surfaces before painting.
- in the event of applying the putty outside, the dried layer must be covered by product which is designed for external premises.
- application works are to be carried out at the air and surface temperature from +10 °C
- drying time at temperature of +20ºC and air humidity of 65% (1mm thickness) around 4 hours, full drying properties after 24 hours.
