Śnieżka Radiator - Modified acrylic enamel

Modified acrylic enamel ŚNIEŻKA DO KALORYFERÓW, due to its excellent properties: high temperature resistance, lack of going yellow and excellent adhesiveness to the surfaces. It’s specially designed for protective and decorative painting of radiators and elements of central heating installations. It can also be used for painting previously primed wooden, wood-based, steel, cast-iron elements as well as plasters and concrete surfaces, plaster cardboard panels, renovation of premises painted by old oil and phthalate paints.

Surface preparation

• do not use upon non-ferrous metals e.g. copper
• surface must be dry without dust, grease or any other contamination
• radiators and pipes covered with rust must be cleansed by wire brush to the bare metal
• old, loose paint coatings must be removed mechanically, the rest with good adhesive properties must be grinned by sandpaper and dedusted
• uncovered metal parts of the surface must be primed by fast drying anticorrosive paint - Śnieżka Urekor S (available also in white colour)

Product preparation

• the enamel is to be stirred carefully before application
• use as is

Painting

• do not apply to hot radiators
• painting works are to be carried at temperature more than +10°C and air humidity 80% by flat paintbrush with soft hair, roller or spraying
• the best quality of coatings can be obtained after two-time painting
• further layers must be applied after about 4 hours (low temperature and high humidity extend drying time)
• full hardening of the coating in room conditions can be obtained after 24 hours
• after the works have been completed it is necessary to wash the tools by water.
