There is a beautiful day. You come out in order to spend time in the sun. You go for a stroll in the garden and you take a look at the facade of the house. Where are these damp patches and holes come from? Did my house use to be bright-yellow once? What about the paint coming off? Here we have a short manual how to renovate the building elevation.
Constantly changeable weather conditions, rains with burning sunrays, snow, hail and even wind carrying small particles of sand, dust and contamination can change even the most beautiful house into dull, unattractive and sometimes ugly building. How is it supposed to be still enjoyable if it lost its charm due to lost of the initial colour. Cracks and scratches are noticeable and windowsills and windows seem to peel off due to long-term sunrays and white colour went yellow?
Taking care is not enough
We can prevent from destroying our elevations – by regular cleaning and taking care – but time and changeable weather conditions in our climate will do the job. How can we still make our house look beautiful again and so it does not scare our guests?
Seek a gap where the hedge is whole
The latest agents of construction chemicals seem to be helpful to us. Depending on the degree of coating damage we have to select a proper fixing system so as to restore the previous condition of the elevation. Such a system consists of a group of products which provide proper renovation of the facade depending on the size and kind of surface damage. Some renovations are limited to the use of priming products, cement smoothening masses and for example, properly selected facade paint. In this case a process of restoration is to repair cracks and roughness with the use of cement smoothening mass – Acryl Putz Fasada, next carry out painting by using one of the elevation colours of FOVEO TECH brand. Depending on the surface material it can be an acrylic, silicate or silicone paint. More time-consuming activity is to repair the insulation layer or its partly replacement. In the event of such repair it’s necessary to restore the texture and colour upon the whole surface – depending on the kind of previously used insulation material. Then we will need a system approach: using adhesives, primers and plasters. Similarly to facade paints, system FOVEO TECH provides a complex selection of plasters i.e. mineral, acrylic, acrylic and silicone, silicate, silicone and mosaic. FOVEO TECH products are of high quality, made on the basis of the latest technology and easy to use.
Playing with colours
Repaired cracks, filled in defects and roughness must only be painted. We can choose a similar to the previous one or – to change the image of our house – decide to select a completely new colour. It’s worth using here – depending on expected decorative effect – facade paints or FOVEO TECH plasters. They are available in 240 colours selected so that everybody can find their favourite colour and at the same time the building can blend in the surrounding architecture. Thanks to used components the paints and plasters are highly resistant to UV radiation and preserve excellent colour for a long time. To dot the i’s and cross the t’s
